Salla guide

Install and set up Tabdeel on Salla

Tabdeel's Salla app is under development and has not been approved for public App Store availability. This guide explains setup for accounts with installation or test access. Installation does not mean the app is publicly published.

Install the app

  1. Sign in to Tabdeel, open setup, and go to the Store step. If installation is available to your account, use the Connect Salla button to open the app installation page.
  2. Confirm the correct Salla store and review the requested permissions before approving installation.
  3. If the app is already installed, open installed apps in the Salla dashboard and select Tabdeel to continue managing your store.
  4. When asked to sign in to Tabdeel, use the email connected to your store account. Continue setup after the connection and access are verified.

Subscription and payment

Choose Essential or Advanced. Tabdeel sends you to Stream for the monthly payment. After payment succeeds, you return to setup and your invoice and payment method remain in Stream.

The 5 setup steps

  1. Store: confirm that the correct Salla store is connected.
  2. Policy: choose the return and exchange windows, photo requirements, and approval rules.
  3. Options: choose exchange, shop again, store credit, and any credit bonus you want to offer.
  4. Shipping: choose who pays, enter the national return address, and review the agreed Tabdeel Shipping label price.
  5. Launch: review the store name and appearance, then configure order editing and delivery display. Test the available journeys before sharing shopper links.

Editing the original order

In the Launch step or the dashboard's Order editing page, choose the time window and actions you allow. Shoppers can edit the address, change a size or option at the same price, or cancel an eligible order that has not started shipping. Each action requires Salla support and an open editing window.

An Edit order information button appears on the order detail page in the shopper's Salla account. It opens that exact order in Tabdeel, then the shopper verifies with a code sent to the email on the order. Unavailable actions stay hidden. Quantity and price-changing edits are currently unavailable.

Delivery display

In the Launch step or the dashboard's Delivery promise page, choose product-page or cart display. Set preparation time, cutoff time, working days, and holidays before saving.

Tabdeel calculates the date from those settings and the live transit time available through Tabdeel Shipping to the shopper's city. If no valid transit time is available, no date appears. Test a product page and the cart with a supported city; saving settings alone does not prove that shoppers see a delivery date.

Exchange differences and returning the item

The shopper chooses a replacement in the Tabdeel portal. If an additional amount is shown, the shopper pays through Stream and Tabdeel verifies confirmation before continuing. The confirmed amount is recorded in the store balance, then a linked replacement order is created in Salla after the exchange conditions are met, without collecting the same amount again.

In the Shipping step, you decide whether the shopper returns or keeps the item under your rules. When the item returns, Tabdeel books the shipment and deducts the agreed label price from prepaid Tabdeel Shipping funds after booking is confirmed.

After launch

New requests appear in the dashboard. Review each request, decide the outcome, then follow its shipment and resolution until it closes. Store settings can be changed later from the dashboard.

Uninstall and delete data

  1. Open installed apps in the Salla dashboard and choose Tabdeel.
  2. Choose Uninstall to stop syncing and remove Tabdeel access to the store.
  3. Cancel the Stream subscription separately from Tabdeel billing or through support; uninstalling alone does not cancel the subscription.
  4. To delete remaining records, email [email protected] from the account email. We verify ownership, then delete data no longer needed to settle a payment, support request, or open dispute, as described in the privacy notice.
