Your data in Tabdeel
Privacy notice
This notice explains the data Tabdeel uses for returns, exchanges, supported order edits, and available delivery information. It describes why we use the data and when we delete it.
Last updated: September 15, 2026
Data we collect
- Store account data, including the store name, email, Salla store ID, domain, and connection settings.
- Order, product, and customer data needed for a return or exchange, including the order number, items, amounts, name, contact details, and address when needed.
- Return or exchange details, including reasons, notes, customer photos, decisions, shipment status, and resolution method.
- The international bank account number and account holder name supplied by the shopper for a bank-transfer refund, so the transfer can be made and its completion confirmed.
- Order-owner verification and edit records, including the buyer's email, verification time, and outcome. We store hashes of verification codes and network addresses to prevent misuse.
- Limited operating and security records used to deliver events, prevent duplicate actions, and diagnose failures.
How we receive data
We receive data from Salla after the merchant installs the app and approves the permissions shown during installation. Merchants and shoppers may also provide data directly when setting up the store or submitting a request.
Why we use it
- Connect the store and sync the orders, products, and customers selected by the merchant.
- Apply the return and exchange policy chosen by the merchant and show the shopper the available options.
- Verify the order owner before allowing supported edits, and display a delivery date calculated from the merchant's settings and available transit time for the shopper's selected city.
- Manage approvals, resolutions, shipping, notifications, and reports.
- Run the subscription, provide support, secure the account, and prevent the same action from running twice.
Services that help us operate Tabdeel
- Salla provides store, order, product, and customer data within the permissions approved by the merchant, and receives supported edits and replacement-order details linked to the original order.
- Supabase hosts the database, sign-in service, and files uploaded by users.
- Vercel hosts Tabdeel and processes incoming requests, including form data, connection details, and records needed to operate the service.
- Stream manages subscriptions, exchange-difference collections, order-related payments, and refunds of those collections. We send the billing account holder's name and email, an order or transaction reference, and the amount as needed for the payment type. We receive payment identifiers and status to match the payment to the request and merchant balance. Tabdeel does not store full card numbers.
- Resend delivers sign-in, support, and notification emails.
- When photo review is enabled for the service, Anthropic receives return photos, the product name, and the shopper's stated return reason to provide observations about the product's condition. These observations do not make the decision for the merchant.
- OTO processes shipment, address, contact, item, and tracking data as the shipping provider Tabdeel uses to issue and track labels.
- WhatsApp receives the phone number, message content, and delivery status when WhatsApp notifications are enabled.
Sharing
We share data only with the store that owns it and with services needed to run the feature being used. We do not sell merchant or shopper data.
Retention and deletion after uninstall
When the Tabdeel app is uninstalled from Salla, we stop syncing and delete the credentials that allow Tabdeel to access the store. We retain request history, settings, and billing records after uninstall so the merchant can close open requests or restore service after reinstalling.
A merchant can ask us to delete store data. We verify account ownership and delete data that is no longer needed to settle an open payment, support request, or dispute.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. You can turn off optional email or WhatsApp messages in store settings or by contacting us. If a shopper asks the store to access or delete their data, the store manages that request and we can help complete it in Tabdeel.
Contact
